It has been suggested that the photograph was taken on William and Eliza's golden wedding anniversary in 1914, but the photograph was published in the 'Observer' on 20 August 1927. Album relating to early South Australia and Northern Territory

Photographs, sketches and news clippings pasted onto loose album pages, relating to the early history of South Australia and the Northern Territory. Includes captioned photographs of the kangaroo hunting expedition near Lake Albert in November 1867 at which Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh, was a guest. Other items in the albums include photographs and copies of sketches of Aboriginal people, and images of surveyors and land selectors in the Northern Territory. A number of unrelated clippings and images have been added to the album, possibly by Daly's children.

Photographs relating to Adelburt Thiele's service overseas in World War I. Includes images of Egypt, France and Turkey. Most photographs were taken by Thiele, while others were reproduced images used as postcards. Also includes a handwritten note about the location of some of the images on the Suez Canal, and an envelope addressed to Cpl M.E. Thiele (believed to be Max Eric Thiele, a brother or other relative of Adelburt).
