Studio portrait photograph of twin girls Mollie and Nancie Depledge. They were born 1 September 1925. Nancie married Victor Carpenter in 1957, and died in 1976. They were daughters of Amy Mignanette Burgess and Andrew Alfred Depledge, and granddaughters of Annie Sarah Emma Burgess (nee Mudge). Their great grandparents John and Ann Mudge lived for many years at Wallaroo. John Mudge was born at sea off the St Jago Islands. His family settled at Noarlunga, and he married Ann Stimson, the sister of Charlotte Depledge (nee Stimson).

Studio portrait photograph of William Depledge (1842-1926), who married Charlotte Stimson (1852-1925) in 1873. In 1891 he purchased 'Marine Farm', sections 3 and 4, Hundred of Encounter Bay, and later owned by his grandsons, the Carpenter brothers. His son Alfred Depledge re-named the property 'Ralganalg' based on information given to him by the local Aboriginal man, Mansell Tripp. William and Charlotte Depledge had the children Mary (died in infancy), Ann, William, George, Walter, Clara, Ett, and Alfred.

Portrait photograph of Jane Jagger (nee Depledge) (1813-1891), who was a single mother of two sons, William (1842-1926) and James (1845-1919). She married the widower Matthew Jagger, who had settled at Encounter Bay with his first wife and family in 1839, when he was on a return visit to England. The family returned to South Australia on the 'Mermaid', to Melbourne (circa 1855) and settled at Encounter Bay, on the Western side of the Bluff. Her son William Depledge married Charlotte Stimson in 1883.
