Menz in his 'Morris & Company: Pre-Raphelites and the Arts & Craft Movement' (1994), the wallpaper is not a Morris design.

Portrait of the Right Reverend Dr. John Flynn who set up the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Identified in bottom right corner as 'Right Rev. Dr. John Flynn / O.B.E., D.D.' In the bottom left corner is 'Copy - Sidney Riley, Brisbane'. The inscriptions suggest that the artwork was commissioned for hanging, and could well be a retrospective painting (certainly later than 1933 when Flynn was awarded the Order of the British Empire).
