A women's rowing crew from Port Pirie in their craft on the Torrens Lake during a regatta held at Adelaide on Saturday 28 March 1914. As reported in the 'Chronicle' on 4 April 1914, page 29, a similar photograph taken by Krischock was published. A report on page 11 gave the crew members' names; from right to left they are: Miss G. Duryea (bow), Miss O. Middleton (2), Miss W. Bradshaw (3) and Miss O. Noale (stroke), and unnamed male cox wearing the Port Pirie club colours (navy & light blue) in his singlet.

The first jetty at Port Noarlunga, with two rowing boats being transported on wheels waiting on it at the beach end. By 1919 it was derelict and unusable and partly demolished. [Collins] I would suggest this pic is at least ten years prior to 1919; maybe ca.1900 would be a better date. [Information provided by Phil Rickard].
