Photograph of LLC Rossiter (b1892) in the driver's seat of a Renault 8-9 hp taxi, registration no 2405, one of 14 taxis registered for Taxi-Cabs Limited, 114 Pirie Street, Adelaide. He was a chauffeur for the company, whose business premises can be seen in the background. The company insignia can be seen on the scuttle (dash panel) and the cabin door, plus the taxi meter mechanism. Leo Rossiter was assigned hire car licence no A37, according to the South Australian Motor magazine, June 1913 issue, list of 'cars on hire' (from A1-A112).
