ETSA

ETSA

Photograph states this is ETSA station but looks like the Sawmill on 14th July 1958. Information from a researcher: 'The sawmill was co-located with the ETSA Power station. The tall building on the left of the photo is the fuel storage bin for the power station (it ran on the wood waste from the sawmill). The smaller building in front is the workshop/spare parts store for the power station. The angled structure is the elevating conveyor that brings the fuel up from the hogger which receives its feed from the sawmill via conveyor belts. I worked in the sawmill for many years and the power station for 12 months in 1994'.
