The 'Arcadia', loaded with passengers for an excursion on the lakes. P.S. Arcadia built at Goolwa in 1903. Originally powered with an oil engine, a steam engine was installed in about 1906. The photo appears to be dated c1905.

Barge in Goolwa. According to a researcher, this is commonly called a bin barge. It is a work barge for carrying materials, on the river for lock and weir construction. It also carried machinery and doubled as work platforms for machinery. It is on a slip, probably Craig's slip at Goolwa.
