Museum - Built in 1851 as Clare's first police station, became a casualty hospital from 1878 to 1924. From 1927 used by Clare Corporation to house local government employees, in 1969 leased to National Trust as museum. Officially opened in 1970.

Soldier's Memorial, Clare. A soldiers memorial arch was unveiled by His Excellency the Governor on April 6, 1922. These Oval Memorial Gates and Arch were erected in memory of those who fell in the Great War 1914-1918.
