Photographic postcard featuring a studio portrait of three girls, Daphne, Hazel and Marjorie Rimes, children of Albert and Fanny Rimes of Bowden. The family took rooms with Walter's family during the summer holidays. This photograph was sent to Walter for his birthday. The inscription on the verso reads ' Dear Walter, We all wish you many Happy Returns of your Birthday. Best Wishes from Daphne, Hazel and Marjorie Rimes'. Pasted on the verso, are newspaper clippings of death and funeral notices for Garnet Crocombe Rimes, husband of Doris; and also Albert James Rimes in 1947.
