Includes images of the delivery of parts for the Hamilton Press in 1938, their installation, and the ceremony for starting the massive Press attended by the then Prime Minister, Joseph Lyons.

Photographs relating to George Dankel, comprising early farming scenes and including Aboriginal people and Aboriginal dwellings. One of the images has been positively identified as created by D. Darian Smith, with the remainder strongly attributed to the photographer. On comparison with SLSA images of Hermannsburg and the Aranda (Arrernte/Aranta), it is possible that the location of the images is Alice Springs, Terowie, Finke River and McDonnell Ranges area (see PRG 1559/8/1-295).

This is a copy made for SAGASCO ca.1986 from B 21542 (date given as ca.1900).

Family and personal photographs of George R. Harrison including three of his uncle, the bass-baritone singer Peter S. Dawson. Eleven photographs in the series were kept by G.R. Harrison in his personal pocket-book while serving with the 31st Battery, 8th Field Artillery Brigade and, with it, were returned to his family at Henley Beach following his death. Twenty four photographs have been copied from an album belonging to his mother Mrs V.F. Harrison. A selection of the photographs have been digitised.
