A group of naval and military war veterans at a reunion dinner in Adelaide, South Australia, with many of the men wearing medals. The event was held in the Aurora Hotel on a Saturday afternoon. The men at the table on the left are District Commandant (Col. H. Le Messurier) and Commander Burford, of the Naval Forces, accompanied by Capt. Page, Capt. the Hon. and Rev. Edward Le Maitre, and possibly Archbishop O'Reily. Behind the table is a map of the Battle of Vittoria and a photograph of Kaiser Wilhelm, which is likely to have been removed within around 12 months.
