(Brodersen Vaughan and Co. registered Liverpool sold c.1910 and renamed Celtic Glen by Celtic Glen Co. (R. Hughes-Jones and Co.) registered Liverpool. Sold and renamed Riverford, then in 1918 sold Marine Nav. Co. of Canada Ltd and renamed Garthforce. Collided with an iceberg sout of Cape of Good Hope in 1921 and was towed into Durban and sold for conversion into a hulk.]

'Cheopis'. [Cheopis means flea. Steel single screw steamship, ON156011, 55 gross, 25 net tons. 70.0 x 14.0 x 5.3. Built 1914 Robinson Bros. Melbourne. Compound steam engine, 34nhp, by shipbuilder, 10 knots. Owners South Australian Government's Customs and Health Department (Built as a boarding launch) Taken out of service and towed to Melbourne by SS Lady Loch Oct. 21, 1932. Sold and in 1934 registered at Port Adelaide by Kangaroo Island Transport Co. Ltd and intended for a service between Cape Jervis and Kangaroo Island. This was not successful and she was eventually sold and converted into a shark fishing boat no later than 1946. Eventually she became the property of Mr J. Anderson, of Apollo Bay, Vic. who unofficially renamed her Black Witch. She was wrecked Jan. 22 1954 at Apollo Bay. Her register was closed at Port Adelaide Customs in June 1956 with 'Vessel sunk'.]

Built 1878 (4) T Royden and Son, Liverpool; Greenshields, Cowie and Co., registered Liverpool c.1897 sold foreign and renamed 'Hoppet' and later 'Novo' under the flag of Norway. In 1914 put into the River Plate, damaged and was condemned. During wartime shortages she was recommissioned and renamed 'Don Diego' and was broken up in 1928 when under the flag of Uruguay].

Lubbock gives great attention to the activities of this ship].

Hurst (Last of the Square Riggers) p. 127 says the ship was taken over by the Portuguese in 1917 and her fate is unknown. He incorrectly states the ship was built at Whitehaven].
