[General description] Artistic photograph of the Laura showgrounds taken with a body of water in the foreground which gives a mirror image effect. The stone building is one of several permament structures on the showgrounds which caused some to hesitate when a move to new grounds, closer to the railway station and the public school was suggested in 1913. However the move went ahead and was successful.

The shop with sheets hung over the windows is/ has been the premises of W.Wilson, Draper, Grocer, Boots & Shoes. D. Touchell & Son, Fruiterers is another name visible (shop in the centre).
