Mr. A. L. Dunn's property at McHarg's Creek when it was rented by the Stone Bros. A researcher has suggested that the Stone Brothers' mother, Catherine (nee Connor), originally rented the property.

"Willyama", The Avenue, Medindie, the home of Mrs. A.M.L. Rasp. Mrs Rasp's first husband was Mr Charles Rasp, the first discoverer of mineral wealth at Broken Hill. The name of Mrs Rasp's home, Willyama, is the Aboriginal name for Broken Hill. After the death of her husband she married Count van Zeidwitz in London and lived in Berlin. However she kept her house open and entertained lavishly when visiting South Australia

[General description] The North Star Hotel at Melrose is a rambling stone building, part of which is two storey. Staff (and customers?) are assembled in front of the hotel and on its balcony. Mount Remarkable is on the right.

Road leading into the township of Melrose in the Flinders Ranges. Melrose was once called Mount Remarkable. The Adnyamathanha lived in this area for many millennia. A copper mine was erected in 1846 and after several closures was finally closed in 1917. At one time the town boasted woolsheds, brewery, post office, court house, police station and blacksmiths
