Historical information

Colin was born in 1926 in Port Pirie. He began rowing at PARC in 1947 and soon won a seat in crews selected for eight oared events. However his major success was Champion Senior Fours in 1950. Colin put a lot of effort back into the Club after he stopped competing and he occupied the following positions: President 1975 to 1977, Secretary 1967 to 1969 and Committeeman for a number of years. He was awarded Life Membership in 1984.
