Historical information

Jack Ward was born in 1930 and began rowing with PARC in 1948 stroking a Lightweight Four crew before his inclusion in a Maiden Eight. He remained in competition until 1961 and still rows regularly with other past members. His most notable successes were Champion Maiden Eight in 1950 and Champion Junior Eight in 1952.
