Summary

Bird's eye view of the interior of the Burra Hall, set up with tables for dining and with two Cheer Up Society workers nearby. There is a piano and phonograph on the stage which is draped with the Australian flag and the Union Jack, and there are photographs of servicemen around the hall. [On the back of photograph] 'Lunch time at / The Cheer Up Hut World War I / Showing / Panels with photos in memory of / men killed in action among whom / were Col Carew Reynell. Col. A.Miell 9th Light H. / L/Cpl George Seager. Major A.Cook. Capt Frank Chabrel / Trevor Owen Smith . CSM Judell & others'.
