Badge dating from the WW2 era, featuring the text 'Meningie Hotel, T.P. Menzies, Proprietor', and a black and white illustration of the Meningie Hotel building with trees in the background. Missing small leather strap with a buckle. Written on card on back of badge: 'Name: SX 27998 L/CPL Watson, 14th HBT. SUPP DEPT. PL.' (Walter Maxwell Watson, born 1923, enlisted 12 January 1943 at Keswick, posted at 89 SUP DEPT PL).See also item 23 above.
