Summary

Photograph of open bales of wook in a large building. The caption reads 'J.O. reclassed wool shown for re-appraisement at Wentworth Park [NSW] on 23rd August 1948. Originally bought in as 709 lots comprising 1003 bales requiring 1003 shown bales. Reclassed into 51 lots comprising 976 bales requiring 176 shown bales, representing a saving in show floor space for 827 shown bales thus reducing the area required for display purposes by approximately 18,500 sq. ft.'
