Historical information

Born in Charters Towers, Queensland, the eldest son of Wilfred and Irene Hudson, Wilfred Frank Flexmore Hudson came to Adelaide with his family as a young boy. He was educated at Adelaide High School and the University of Adelaide. He worked as a school teacher throughout his career whilst publishing many volumes of poetry for which he received international recognition. He died in Adelaide 14 May 1988.
