Historical information

When she arrived at Port Adelaide from Hobart in May 1894 the Success was described as a "relic of the convict days". After being on display for nine months the ship exhibit sailed for England in March 1895. A more authentic history of the Success by A.T. Saunders than that used to advertise her exhibit is in The Register newspaper, 10 February 1917, page 5.
