General notes

This photograph taken during a trip by the Governor of South Australia, Sir George Le Hunte, to Spencer Gulf ports aboard the Marine Board steamer, Governor Musgrave. The Chronicle newspaper of 2 March 1907 reports; "That night the steamer lay in the neighbourhood of Point Lowly. The lighthouse was visited early on Monday morning and stores were landed." Page 42.
