Summary

Cameraman Cpl. D.C. Hardy, official photographer, Military History Section Land Headquarters, films as Australian 2/9th Armoured Regiment Matilda (26 ton) tanks move ashore at the north end of Green Beach, Labuan, from LSM 237 at the start of Operation OBOE Six in June 1945. Identified personnel are: (left to right, on tank) Trooper (Tpr) A Kenny; unidentified; Corporal (Cpl) J A Murphy; unidentified; Tpr S L Cockram; unidentified.
