View of Holden factory sheds at Woodville. The open area in the top left quadrant of the photograph is the Cheltenham race course. The factory beyond the race course is the Actil factory - zooming in on the chimney confirms this. The very wide divided road in the lower right quadrant is Port Road (Adelaide is to the right of the photograph) and the road visible in the lower left quadrant is Cheltenham Parade. In the upper half of the photograph (at an upward angle from left to right) is the Outer Harbor railway line and the Grange / Henley Beach railway line can be seen diverging from the Outer Harbor line in the top right quadrant of the photograph toward the lower right corner, where it crosses Port Road. Just below the point where the two railway lines diverge, where the Grange line is still dual track alongside Rowley Terrace, the Holdens station is visible and, zooming in on that area, the sidings where cars were loaded onto trains can also be seen.
