Summary

Colour lithograph depicting a distant view of Mount Lofty, the landing place, and the iron stores at Port Adelaide, South Australia. The Sir Charles Mc Carthy (ship) which was a store ship of the South Australian Company, features on the left. Two arched tents can be seen on the water line to the right of the composition. There are manned row boats and sail boats on the water. The artwork reflects the landscape and vegetation at the time.
