'The Company is headed by Miss Mabel Hardinge, who is right in the front rank of her profession in Australia. Miss Hardinge was formerly connected with Messrs J.C. Williamson's and Wm. Anderson's best companies, but last Easter she organised her own Dramatic Company and has since been so successful in all her dramatic ventures that her company is now recognised as one of the standard shows of Australia and a formidable rival to other organisations. Possessed of a charming stage appearance, a melliflous speaking voice, and one of rare inging quality, and above all indomitable pluck and tireless energy, Miss Hardinge is in herself a tower of strength to any company..'
