General notes

A note relating to Randles/Randall Corner (PRG 335/121/20-23) by M.B. White reads 'Since Torrens Channel cut to sea, Randall's Corner and old Torrens River do not exist. Mr George Randall, born at 'Reedbeds' Henley Beach in 1850 and went to Kingston S.E. on horseback in 1870. His first employment was cutting a crop with a scythe at five shillings per acre. He died in 1931 at Reedy Creek. His parents must have lived in this corner - there were remains of a dwelling there.'
