Historical information

William Henry Gray was born in London on January 18, 1808. He selected a large area of land in the province while still in London and came to South Australia in February 1837. As well as city properties, William Gray owned a large estate known as 'Frogmore' at the Reedbeds. He married Rosetta, the eldest daughter of J.S. Bagshaw and there were nine children by the marriage.
