Summary

A huge gum tree with a hollow opening in the trunk, located next to the creek on the current site of Brown Hill Creek Caravan Park. Caption reads, 'Used as a dwelling, in early days.' A small boy is sitting on the base of the trunk, which dwarfs him. Eight other people are visible through the opening in the trunk, which could easily shelter them.
