Summary

A car and a lorry laden with sacks on a road in Mitcham possibly near Belair Road. A park with white railings is on one side of the road and the hills are in the background. A researcher has provided the following information: 'I believe I am able to identify that the photograph depicts the intersection of Albert Street and Taylors / Old Belair Roads. The (now) Sutton Garden can be seen on the right hand side of the photograph. There are 2 buildings still standing which can be used to identify the location. On the left, you can just see the balcony of the Temperance Hotel at 41 Albert Street, which is now a private residence. In the middle of the photo, you can just make out the spires of St Michael's Anglican Church which is about 300 m. to the east of the intersection.'
