Summary

South Australian volunteer recruits for service in the army during World War I. According to a researcher, the portly man with the 74 on his cap is J.M. Malpas - he was on Jubilee/Exhibition Camp staff around early 1915 and was later in AIF overseas. Therefore it is the camp with new recruits early in the war.
