Summary

An outdoor performance representing an "Egyptian wedding" performed as a fund raiser for the Cheer Up Hut. This photograph, and SRG 6/34/10, were both taken at the Cheer Up Hut fair in January 1916, reported in: Daily Herald, Thursday 27 January 1916, page 3. The fair included a mock Egyptian wedding, 'conducted with all pomp and circumstance, in which Corporal Bastard will be the bridegroom and Private Ransamer will be the bride'.
