The inscription on the back reads 'Adelaide Hospital Doctors 1923' but does not identify any of the individuals. An almost identical photograph is published in The Observer newspaper, 5 February 1921, page 26.

An obituary for Dr. Glynne appears in The Register newspaper 18 September 1928, page 11.
