Summary

Lord Munro Ferguson, Governor-General of Australia inspecting a guard of honour during a visit to Adelaide, South Australia. The officer at the rear of the inspecting party is Brigadier General Stanley Price Weir, 1st C.O. of the 10th Battalion. According to a researcher, the man to the left of Weir is Lt. Benjamin JOHN, an original officer of the 27th Battalion who had returned (for medical reasons) to S.A. by 1917 and seems to have been on the staff of Mitcham Camp under Commandant, Lt Col Walter Dollman - his old commanding officer in France and Gallipoli.
