Summary

A column of soldiers followed by motorised ambulances marching in Adelaide during World War I; women and children watch silently from the side of the road as three other boys march alongside the men. According to a researcher: 'the soldiers are marching to the west, on North Terrace, having passed the War Memorial and now opposite the grounds of Government House. They have just passed a multi-storey building, which still exists in 2020 on the west corner of Stephens Place.'
