Historical information

W. Hunt (William Hunt) first appeared as a photographer at Quorn in the mid-North of South Australia in 1902. Initially at Seventh Street, Quorn, he later moved to First Street. On 30 December 1901, aged 29, he married Wilhelmina Blanche Bayles at St Michael's Church, Hawker. He died on 19 September 1932, aged 62 years. No other photographers by the name of Hunt appear in the Sands and McDougall Directories while William Hunt was active.
