Summary

Women and girls photographed standing and sitting outside the Rogerson Building, at Minda Home, Brighton, South Australia; the original caption reads: 'Mothers Day, Adelaide 1924'. Minda Home was established in 1898 to provide residential support and education for people living with intellectual disability. The large, single storey Rogerson Building was the first purpose built dormitory style building erected by Minda at Brighton in 1911, designed by South Australian architects Garlick and Jackman in association with Williams and Good.
