General notes

"Off to the Interior. The Governor and the Premier depart. His excellency the Governor (Sir Tom Bridges) and the Premier (Sir Henry Barwell)... left Adelaide at 10a.m. on Friday by train for Oodnadatta, whence they will travel by motor cars to Alice Springs. The party also included Mr. Murray Aunger, the Hon. T. McCallum, and Dr. H. Basedow, each of whom will pilot one of the three Dort cars, which will be used on the inland part of the journey north of Oodnadatta." Advertiser Newspaper 16 June 1923.
