Summary

About 300 pupils from the schools at Parkside, Glen Osmond and Highgate assembled on the site of the old horse tram sheds at the corner of Fullarton and Campbell Roads, Parkside South, on 27 July 1923 to celebrate Arbor Day. The block of land had been secured by the Unley City Council for the purpose of converting it into a children's playground.
