After unloading from the S.S. 'Trewinnard' at Outer Harbor, South Australia, an alternator weighing 43 tons 12 cwt sits on rail wagons prior to moving to Osborne. The alternator manufactured in Manchester, England, was shipped from Liverpool for the Adelaide Electric Supply Company premises at Osborne.
