Close view of two men in Adelaide, one is described by Searcy as being a visiting 'astronomer from Canada for the eclipse of 1922'. On the left is Dr Clarence Augustus Chant, professor of astronomy at Toronto University, Canada, who arrived along with a number of scientists to view the total solar eclipse in September 1922.
