Summary

Racegoers travelling through Oakbank to its racecourse; horse-drawn and motor vehicles pass under a pedestrian suspension bridge built across a river in the foreground, pedestrians on a footbridge, pass in front of Pike's Brewery. The footbridge, total length 260 feet, was opened in March 1868.
