General notes

The image has a central fold.

Historical information

Jensen, a Danish emigrant, settled in South Australia in 1909; he won the Victoria Cross on 2 April 1917 for conspicuous bravery in action at Noreuil near the Hindenberg line. He was seriously wounded in May 1918 and invalided out of the army in August 1918.
