Summary

Children at Mallala waving flags and carrying banners relating to a narrow gauge extension; visiting dignitaries stand on one side. According to a researcher, the photograph may be of school children welcoming a Parliamentary Party on Friday 22nd October 1909. The 'Advertiser' Saturday 23rd 1909 reports on the trip which was made at the request and the invitation of the Mallala Railway Committee.
