Historical information

William Dunstan of Ballarat, Victoria, was awarded the Victoria Cross for conspicuous bravery at Lone Pine, Gallipoli, 9 August 1915. He later joined the staff of the 'Herald' newspaper in Melbourne, resigning as general manager in 1952 but remaining as a director.
