Summary

A group photograph of members of the 27th Battalion football team in South Australia. The following individuals have been identified: [back row] Roy Townley (5th from left); Alfred McLaren Moore (Norwood player, 7th from left); Ronald Gilbert Horwood (4th from right), W. R. G. Colman (third from right), and Stanley Stuart Woods (far right). Middle row: Percy Gordon Bice (2nd from left); W.G. Dayman (Norwood player,4th from left); Gordon George Garlet Solly (5th from left, President of the team); Clarence Everard 'Nip' Pellew (test cricketer, 6th from left. . Clearance problems with Roseworthy Agricultural College, where Pellew was studying and playing football, saw him play only one match for North Adelaide which was against Sturt, 12 July 1920); and Wilfred Stanley Hosking (7th from left). Front row: Percy Crowley is 4th from left.

An article about the game apperared in 'The Mail', Saturday 17 April 1920, page 3.
