Summary

A group of older residents from Norton Summit, South Australia described by Searcy as 'all over 50 years of age'; names not known. They are celebrating the golden anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Sutton, who are the 2 people in the very middle of the front row. This event ins mentioned in the Observer (11 December 1920). A researcher has suggested that the man with a beard standing fifth from the left in the back row is Mr. Felix Leane, born 18 February 1857 and died at Uraidla Hospital on 17 November 1934, a market gardener who lived all of his adult life in Norton Summit and surrounding areas.
