Historical information

Born 6 July 1825 in London, Helen arrived in South Australia aboard the Africaine with her father in 1836 and she witnessed the Proclamation read by Governor John Hindmarsh at Glenelg on 28 December 1836. She died at Hyde Park on 17 August 1921.
