Summary

The Signal Station at Semaphore, South Australia. Pilot Fred Boord is seated at the end of the wall and Signalman William Uden is leaning on the post. The enclosure to the left and the two small houses are the boarding station quarters. The signal station and mast with the tide signals are next. In the corner of the enclosure is the old wooden room in which pilots on night duty slept. The two storey wooden house is that of Mr. Richard Jagoe, the shipping reporter.
