Summary

A photograph which was published in the newspaper Critic, 6 December 1916 as part of a page 6 feature 'Committees of the Repatriation Day which is to be held Saturday, December 15th'. The photograph's caption: 'Some members of the Refreshment Committee. Standing - Mr. Geo. Hawkes, Mr. Henesey, Mr. Wallis, Sitting - Nurse Lee, Mrs. Crawford Vaughan, Mrs. J. Howard Vaughan.' Nurse Lee's initials were F. M. Mrs. Crawford Vaughan was Evelyn Maria Vaughan, nee Goode, wife of the Premier. Mrs. J. Howard Vaughan was her sister-in-law Helena Maud Vaughan, nee Fry.
